YEARBOOK UPDATE

The yearbook committee and many of the fifth graders are continuing to sell ads and boosters to reduce the final cost of the yearbook to the students. So far we have collected $560. towards the yearbook! Please continue to sell boosters and ads so we can bring the cost of the yearbook way down. SO FAR our top Booster Sellers are: Amberli Hidalgo(5-408), Christian Torres(5-405) and Emine Kolar (5-408)

Ms. Barbara Butler has been a wonderful addition to our Yearbook Club. She has been a terrific support for me as Advisor, but also to all the students on the committee. Her vast business experience has been a great help to us, she keeps us focused and on task! Here is a photo of the committee with Ms. Butler.

Get readyYearbook 2008 is coming! This is a book you will not want to miss. this will be the firs yearbook in the history of PS71 and you will not be disappointed. The fifth graders have all been working very hard designing, and selling and creating this book, all kinds of pictures and memories. Plan to buy it! I am personally very proud that my students have taken this project and turned it into a great learning experience for themselves and for ME!
